Newspapers in Education "Invest in your Future" Articles

Newspapers in Education is an exciting interactive program that actively involves students in a financial literacy program by providing copies of newspapers to schools. The Erie Federal Credit Union is pleased to participate in this program with the Erie Times - News in Education (NIE).


This program was developed through a partnership with Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania, Inc. and the United Way of Erie County, made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation.

Using Junior Achievement and the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) resources this partnership shares the common goal of educating and encouraging area students and families to make smart decisions for investing, saving and managing money for a successful financial future as well as continuing their education.
