The benefits of financial education affect everyone – from young children in elementary school to college students, to families and even entire communities. The Erie Federal Credit Union developed this website as an online financial literary resource to help students, teachers and parents make smart financial decisions throughout life. Financial education can help families learn to make the most of their savings and avoid getting into debt.

In addition to all the financial tools, links and quizzes, this site also includes an online library of financial newspaper articles. This resource was made possible through a special partnership with the Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie Times Newspapers In Education (NIE), Junior Achievement of Erie County, Penn State Erie, and United Way of Erie County. Each week during the school year a new financial education feature is published in the Erie Times News (Erie, PA) and added to this website as a teaching tool for educators. The NIE Invest In Your Future feature provides readers with basic financial literacy concepts and hands-on activities to gain valuable financial knowledge.
